The Last Prep-Season Training Block<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Since my arrival home from Zermatt, I have been in Steamboat for two weeks, primarily working to improve my strength and conditioning one last time before competition season. Throughout the time I was in Steamboat, my teammates and I\u00a0worked out for 3 high intensity sessions a day, with a focus on agility (quickness) and overall strength. At the end of camp, I completed one final strength testing before hitting the road in order to gauge all the strength I\u2019d gained over prep season; I was extremely satisfied with the results, as I snagged a few new personal bests! Also during my last few days in Colorado, I journeyed to Loveland for a bit of on-snow flats training in order to keep things fresh before flying out to Ruka. Both the on-snow and gym portions of the camp were super productive, so I\u2019m feeling more ready than ever going into the first events of the year!<\/p>\n

Here We Go!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

This Sunday, I depart for Ruka, Finland for the first World Cup of the year!! And, after spending a little less than two weeks in the wintery wonderland (and competing on December 9th) I\u2019ll travel over to Thaiwoo, China (with my mom, who will come to watch this event!!), for two more World Cup events before I return home for Christmas. The preparation season has pretty much officially ended at this point, so I am excited for things to really get going!<\/p>\n
